Nadine Maurellet is the COO and a Founding Partner of EXP. She oversees operations, new property openings, and business development. She is passionate about transforming hospitality into intergenerational living networks through innovative programming, continuous learning opportunities, nature and cultural experiences.  She was previously the Group General Counsel and General Manager, Business Diversification of Peninsula Hotels, and brings extensive experience in hospitality and real estate development to EXP. businesses and projects.

For many years, Nadine witnessed the challenges faced by seniors in retirement homes throughout Hong Kong, after serving in philanthropic foundations and impact organisations focused on improving elder services and healthcare. However, it was the deteriorating mobility and cognitive conditions of her own grandparents that truly ignited a fire within her. Witnessing their struggles with social isolation and limited residential options, she felt an overwhelming urge to invest her time and energy into creating intergenerational co-living solutions and living networks that inspire purpose, connection and community.
