What is FUUUN?

「FUUUN」とは何ですか?

FUUUN is a one-of-a-kind mobile 'capsule' (self-contained space). In day-to-day situations, it can be a thoroughly designed Mobile Home Office or a vehicle built for adventure. On special occasions, our partnership with Ryosokuin Kennin-ji (and our Zen monk team member) can become a Mobile Zen Temple.

Do I need a special license in order to drive FUUUN?

「FUUUN」を運転するために特別な免許が必要ですか?

Nope. As long as you have a license (or IDP) that permits you to drive in Japan, you can drive FUUUN. This includes FUUUN-L, whose maximum capacity and car weight fits within the class of a private car.

Is there electricity in FUUUN?

Yes, all FUUUN comes with ample battery capacity with a DC/AC inverter that lets you use your personal electronics, such as laptops and cellphones, just as you would at home.

Any cancellations made after the reservation is confirmed are non-refundable. Modification of active reservations can be done by contacting one of our XOs. Please contact xo@fuuun.no to make changes to your booking.

I'm struggling to connect to the Wi-Fi?

If Wi-Fi is not working properly, please check the black router in the trunk. If there is no internet connection despite being in a docomo coverage area, press and hold the button on the router and restart it. If the problem persists, please switch off the power at the inverter, wait for 10 seconds, and try to restart it.

What if I got in a car accident?

First, please contact the nearest police station and then contact the insurance company from the information in the driver's door pocket of the car. After that, please contact us after you have calmed down. If you are unable to contact us at night, please follow the instructions of the police.

What can I do if I am injured?

First aid kits (disinfectant, bandages, etc.) are available in the car. If you are not sure whether to call an ambulance, dial #119 and ask for instructions from medical personnel.

What should I do if there is a flat tire and car failure?

如果車胎漏氣或車輛故障了該怎麼辦?

車内には応急処置キット(消毒剤、包帯など)が用意されています。救急車を呼ぶ必要があるかどうかわからない場合は、#119 に電話し、医療スタッフから指示を受けてください。

If, while driving, the car stops working due to some sort of mechanical failure, please follow the steps outlined below

1. Please contact us so we can understand the full situation. You can drive the car to a nearby gas station or maintenance shop. Please make sure you have the bill (or receipt) for the car repairs

2. Please move your rental car so it does not block traffic. If possible, please drive it to a nearby gas station or maintenance shop.

The customer is responsible for managing the rental vehicle, including daily inspection and maintenance during the rental period. During the rental period, the customer is responsible for repair costs such as tyre punctures, bursts, damage to hubcaps, and oil replenishment.

Please find a parking space for a microbus (Over 2.3m). There are many places to park at roadside stations, so please check the availability of parking at nearby roadside stations.

Can I return the vehicle earlier?

In case of early return (mid-term cancellation) within the contract period, please contact the store in advance and obtain approval. Please note that we cannot refund the fee for the unused time due to the return before the scheduled return time.

Can I return the vehicle later?

我可以延遲還車嗎?

返却を延長することはできますか?

In principle, the contract cannot be extended after departure. Overtime charge is 3,000 yen (tax included) per hour. This fee cannot be added in advance.
